MTC’s Spring Gala is a long running annual event that is a highlight of the spring social season. It includes a cocktail reception, elegant seated dinner, and a one-night-only show featuring exciting performances from this season’s biggest Broadway hits.

Proceeds from the Benefit support MTC’s mission to develop and produce innovative theatre of the highest quality by American and international playwrights, with a focus on presenting New York, American, and world premieres; and to share that work with thousands of students through MTC Education.

In 1999, MTC first launched a public reading series to help support the development of new works. Between then and now, the reading series has helped develop more than 100 new plays.
